Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has agreed with the Prime Minister of Egypt, Mustafa Madbouly, to provide the necessary support to Egypt in the field of electricity, with the aim of stabilizing the public grid and activating the electrical connection between the two countries.
This came during a meeting between them as part of an official visit conducted by Dbeibah to Egypt.
The two parties discussed aspects of cooperation and activating the agreements concluded between the two countries, reviewing the results of the meetings of the Egyptian-Libyan Supreme Committee held in 2021 in Cairo, and coordination to hold the next meeting to increase cooperation and enhance investment.
They also discussed supporting the private sector in the two countries, holding exhibitions and conferences for Egyptian and Libyan industries, and forming a Council of Egyptian-Libyan Businessmen.
