The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has discussed with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Siddiq Al-Kabir, the bank's observations about government spending for the year 2022 and the steps to be taken for the current year to develop disclosure and transparency.

During the meeting, which was held at the CBL HQ on Tuesday, they discussed development projects and activating the role of international advisory offices to follow up on ensuring the implementation of major projects.

The meeting discussed supporting the National Oil Corporation and providing the necessary capabilities for the continued stability of production, stressing the need on assigning an international advisory office from the Audit Bureau to review the NOC's budget for the past year to ensure the highest levels of transparency.
