Ministers of the Government of National Unity (GNU) will convene periodic meetings from now on upon directions from Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah.
According to a circular published by the government, the meetings will group Deputy Ministers and directors of centres and departments affiliated with each ministry every month.
PM Dbeibah said he wants to be informed by a copy of the recommendations and minutes of the meetings to promote policy coherence and ensure that his team works as one.
Through the follow-up on his government, Dbeibah said he noticed a lack of periodic meetings between the ministers and their departments, which according to him, affects the quality of work.
