‎The Libyan Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, discussed on Monday increasing the opportunities for scholarships provided to Libyan students to study in Canadian universities.

This discussion came during a meeting in Dbeibah's office at the Cabinet headquarters with the Canadian Ambassador to Libya, Isabelle Savard, according to a statement published by the government's Facebook page.

The statement added that the meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields, including facilitating the granting of visas to Libyan citizens wishing to travel to Canada.

The meeting also touched on increasing the opportunities for scholarships provided to Libyan students to study in Canadian universities, and activating agreements related to education and facilitating their procedures.
