The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has discussed with the European Union Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, ways to lift the air embargo imposed on Libya.

This came during a meeting held in Tripoli on Tuesday, during which the two sides discussed enhancing cooperation between Libya and the European Union in various fields.

The two sides also discussed the ongoing preparations to hold the Migration Forum, which will be hosted by the capital, Tripoli, on July 17, in the presence of a number of relevant African and European countries.

Orlando praised the steps taken by the GNU to deal with the migration issue, especially facilitating the return of migrants to their countries, according to a statement by Our Government platform.
