The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah hailed the speech of the UN envoy, Abdoulaye Bathily at the UN Security Council regarding the importance of ending the transitional periods through elections to spare the country any disturbances, praising the exercises conducted by his government that simulated securing elections.

Dbeibah said on Twitter Wednesday that he agrees with what Bathily said about some institutions’ acts to disrupt elections, saying it is a danger to Libya's future.

"The decrease in the number of displaced persons by 57% and the improvement in the security and military situation referred to by the UN envoy compared to 2020, are things that reinforce what we emphasize regarding the importance of supporting stability efforts and encouraging development to restore life." He remarked.
