The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah discussed in Tripoli with a delegation from the French Foreign Ministry, which included the Director of Africa and the Middle East Affairs at the Ministry of Europe, and her accompanying delegation, the cooperation in the fields of energy, health and infrastructure, in the presence of the Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Al-Mangoush.

The Libyan Prime Minister stressed the need for France to support the goal of the international community to hold parliamentary and presidential elections to create a state of stability and lasting peace in Libya.

On the other hand, the Head of the French delegation confirmed the resumption of work of the French embassy in Tripoli and the presence of its entire mission members, reiterating their support for the efforts of the UN envoy Abdoulaye Bathily that aim to see Libya hold elections.
