The Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has discussed with the German ambassador to Libya, Michael Ohnmacht, the necessary support for holding elections.

The meeting on Sunday took place in Tripoli as the two sides discussed political and economic files especially the international support for and German role in helping Libyan elections. They reviewed coordination for holding fourth Libyan-German economic forum.

The German ambassador to Libya discussed with the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Fawzi Al-Nuwairi and the High Council of State's (HCS) Head Khalid Al-Mishri reaching a constitutional basis and electoral laws in Libya and the consensus among all political parties and reaching a Libyan-Libyan solution to advance the political process and hold elections.
