The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, said, "We are honored by Libya's presiding over the 158th session of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers, after a nine-year absence from the presidency."

In a tweet, Dbeibah expressed his aspiration that Foreign Minister Najla Al-Manqoush exert her efforts to mobilize Arab support for the success of elections, and to set for Arab women a leading role, being the first woman to assume the presidency.

Al-Manqoush presided over the 158th Ordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at Ministerial Level, that took place on Tuesday afternoon at the headquarters of the Arab League in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
