Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibeh emphasized on Monday the importance of cooperation with the UN mission to facilitate national dialogue and attain lasting stability while preserving Libya's independence and sovereignty over its national institutions.
The PM's remarks came during his meeting with Stephanie Koury, Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General/ Acting Head of the UN Mission in Libya, at his office in the Council of Ministers.
According to an official statement, the meeting discussed the current political developments in the country and efforts to achieve sustainable stability.
During the meeting, Dbeibeh reaffirmed the importance of continued joint efforts to ensure a conducive environment for conducting elections and concluding the transitional phase, realizing the people's aspirations for establishing a robust state.
