Tunisair informed its customers to postpone the return date of its promised flights to Mitiga and Benghazi International Airports to May 15, 2021.

In a post issued on its official Facebook page, the company said that the decision to delay the restart of fights was due to the present deterioration of the epidemiological situation of the Coronavirus pandemic; however, it is also due to the slowdown in passenger demand between Libya and Tunisia during the fasting month of Ramadan.

In the same post, Tunisair stated that it hopes to operate five weekly flights to Libya at the rate of three flights to Tripoli and two flights weekly to Benghazi, however, it is possible that the number of flights weekly between both countries would increase, with the hope of returning to the original schedule of daily flights in the coming months, providing all goes well.
