A delegation of MPs and dignitaries of the city of Murzuk southwest of Libya met with the head of the United Nation Support Mission In Libya (UNSMIL), Ghassan Salame Saturday, at the mission's HQ in Tripoli, to brief him on the difficult security and humanitarian situation in the city, UNSMIL said.
The mission added via its Twitter account that Salame promised the delegation that he will harness the potential of the mission to protect civilians and the wounded and to provide essential medical and food items.
