The Algeria Square in the capital, Tripoli, witnessed Tuesday evening, a demonstration in support of the Presidential Council’s decision regarding the appointment of a new board of directors for the Central Bank of Libya to succeed Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir.
The demonstrators raised banners supporting the Presidential Council's decision regarding the Central Bank, and denouncing the interference of UNSMIL in Libya's internal affairs, and what they described as "its attempts to keep those who cause crises for the Libyan people."
The participants also expressed their support for the High Committee for Security Arrangements, formed by the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, last Saturday.
They praised the committee's procedures regarding the evacuation of premises and civilian institutions from armed formations.
