Deputy Prime Minister/ Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Jinnah, has held talks with Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy to Libya, Leslie Ordman, that focused on measures to advance efforts towards holding parliamentary and presidential elections as soon as possible.
A statement by the Hakomitna platform said the two sides exchanged notes on political developments and efforts to support stability in the country.
The meeting, which was joined by a delegation from the southern region, also reviewed the problems of the south, border issues, and illegal immigration in Libya.
