Diplomatic Institute in Tripoli named after the former FM, Mansour Rashid Al-Kikhia
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Unity has announced that the Diplomatic Institute in Tripoli will be named after the former Foreign Minister, Mansour Rashid Al-Kikhia, in honor of his career in the Libyan diplomatic service.
This came in a ceremony attended by Foreign Minister, Najlaa Al-Manqoush, accompanied by the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi, and a group of academics and diplomats, according to which the name of the Diplomatic Institute was changed to the “Mansour Rashid Al-Kikhia Institute for Diplomatic Studies”.
In her speech at the ceremony, Al-Manqoush stressed that Al-Kikhia is a symbol and role model for young people thanks to his rich career, and directed the institute's administration to follow in the footsteps of the late minister.
