The Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of the General Manager and other officials of Almadar Mobile Company on charges of financial corruption.
The Public Prosecutor's Office explained in a statement that the Public Prosecution reviewed the Audit Bureau's reports, which included evidence of the misappropriation of 3,575,000 dinars for a two-minute commercial advertisement in violation of the company's financial regulations.
Investigations also revealed that the defendants accepted invoices worth 540,000 dinars for inflated purchases, including a lunch meal worth 17,500 dinars.
