The rescue dive team of the Emergency Medicine and Support Centre recovered Saturday several bodies and remains from Umm al-Buraikat Valley, east of Derna.
The city suffered massive flooding caused by Storm Daniel on September 10, making it one of the hardest-hit areas.
According to the centre, the teams recovered three bodies, as well as several body parts of the flood victims, confirming their transfer to Al-Wahda Hospital to complete the burial procedures.
On the same day, the rescue team retrieved ten bodies of flood victims from other towns in the eastern region.
The centre said that its healthcare teams provided services to 62 people on Saturday and set up contact points in 20 locations throughout the eastern regions.
