The Geo Barents ship of Doctors Without Borders has announced the rescue of more than 260 migrants who were aboard 4 boats in the Maltese search and rescue area, who set off from Libya, and some of them have been at sea for 3 days.

The organization operating the ship explained on its Twitter account that the migrants were rescued within 4 hours from 4 boats that were experiencing difficulties in the Maltese search and rescue area, and the organization stated that among the survivors were 3 pregnant women and 33 children, the youngest of whom is only 11 months old.
