EMSC, a center specialized in depicting earthquakes, said a 4.4 earthquake hit the coastline nearby Libya 66 km off Tobruk and 48 km west of Al-Bardi district on Tuesday.
East-based Libyan News Agency cited residents of Kambut in far-east Libya as saying that they felt the earthquake at 11.25 am and had to get students out of classes for some time.
