The municipal guard force in Benghazi and several cities in eastern Libya have begun a campaign to remove all Turkish labels and signs, from restaurants, cafes, and shops.

"The campaign came upon orders of the "General Commander of the Libyan Arab Forces" -as described- to not deal with the state of Turkey," the media department of the municipal guard said on Facebook Saturday.

Hafter's forces accused Turkey of fighting alongside the Libyan Army forces of the Government of National Accord (GNA) against its militias in Gharyan and elsewhere, which the GNA has denied.
