The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, held discussions with the United Nations (UN) Special Envoy to Libya Jan Kubis, on the latest developments in Libya.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry clarified that the talks come within Egypt’s efforts to support the political settlement in Libya.
Previously, the UN Envoy to Libya conducted a series of official visits to various countries as part of efforts to support the political process in Libya in preparation for the upcoming general elections due to take place next December.
