Egyptian Intelligence Chief confirms Cairo's support for new Libyan gov't

The Egyptian Intelligence Chief, Major-General Abbas Kamel has reiterated his government's support for the new executive authority in Libya.
This came during his meeting with Foreign Minister Muhammad Siyala in Cairo on the sidelines of the Arab League Council meetings at the ministerial level.
Kamel wished the National Unity Government success in carrying out its responsibilities, including organizing the elections scheduled for next December 24.
The media office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the meeting discussed ways to make the political process successful and the mechanism for supporting the outcomes of the Geneva talks.
