The African Rowing Championship, qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics, kicked off on Monday in Tunis, with the participation of 168 rowers representing 20 African countries, including Libya, which participated with eight rowers.

On the sidelines of the championship, the President of the Libyan Rowing  Federation and the Vice-President of the African Rowing Federation, Noureddine Al-Kreikshi, participated in the meeting of the African Federation of Rowing.

The Libyan rowing was present at the last two Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Tokyo, Japan.
