The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) Saddek El-Kaber received at his office on Tuesday the Ambassador of Malta Charles Saliba.
In a brief statement on Facebook, the CBL said the two sides discussed issues of common interest and gave no further details.
Last Sunday, El-Kaber received at his office the Head of the Presidential Council Mohamed Menfi, Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Fawzi Al-Nuiri, and the Head of the High Council of State Khaled Al-Mashri to discuss efforts for unifying the banking sector.
