Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his Mauritanian counterpart, Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani have reaffirmed their keen interest in the unity and sovereignty of Libya, and restoring security and stability in the country.
During a phone call on Thursday, they discussed the ongoing efforts to support the Libyan-Libyan solution path, according to a statement by the Egyptian presidency on its Facebook page.
The two presidents pointed out the importance of advancing the path of cooperation between the two countries to enhance bilateral relations in various fields, in line with the close ties between the two peoples, and achieving their aspirations and common interests.
El-Sisi expressed Egypt's support for Mauritania's presidency of the African Union, in a way that achieves objectives of the peoples of the continent in stability and development.
