The head of the National Emergency Committee at the Ministry of Local Governance, Nasser Al-Mahtout, has called on relevant authorities to respond to potential weather fluctuations and the expected low-pressure system’s impact on citizens and infrastructure.
According to the ministry, Al-Mahtout identified at-risk areas, including Ghadames, Al-Hamada, Nalut and surrounding regions, Al-Qaryat, areas of the Western Mountain, coastal areas from Ras Ajdir to Misrata, Tarhuna, Msallata, and Bani Walid.
He emphasized the need to raise the state of maximum alert and mobilize necessary resources to tackle these weather changes, particularly on Thursday and Friday, March 6-7.
