The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday, that Turkey is determined to assist the legitimate Government of National Accord (GNA), to return its land into an “oasis of peace”, through Turkey’s continual support.

In a televised address, having chaired a government meeting, Erdogan remarked that the operation to push back Haftar was all but completed, thanks to constructive support provided to the GNA, adding, “God willing, we will soon receive good tidings from Libya.

Erdogan added that Libya’s security, safety and the prosperity of its people is the key to stability in the entire North African and Mediterranean region.
