The Ras Lanuf Oil and Gas Manufacturing Company has successfully restarted its ethylene production plant following a 20-day suspension.
The company revealed via its official Facebook account that production resumed after ethylene gas was delivered to the cold storage area. The restart is being conducted progressively, adhering to approved operating procedures and stringent safety standards for personnel, equipment, and processes.
Earlier this month, the plant had to halt operations due to a technical issue with the "propylene" gas compressor, which was triggered by false vibration readings.
