The European Union (EU) said that the Berlin process is the only option to end the Libyan crisis, the terrible suffering of the Libyan civilian population and the avoidance of further instability within the region.

The EU added in a statement that its ambassadors collectively emphasized upon presenting their official credentials to the Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj, the importance of full participation in every track of the Berlin process, along with the restoration of the state’s arms control and the reunification of all financial institutions.

The EU also expressed its willingness to take extreme restrictive measures against those who undermine the various processes of the Berlin agreement, according to the statement.
