The European Union welcomed, on Saturday, the agreement between the House of Representatives and the High Council of State on the management of the Central Bank of Libya, calling for rapid action to effectively and fully implement the agreement.
In a statement, it praised the efforts of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya to conclude the agreement, stressing its continued strong support for the role of the UN mission in achieving peace, stability and security in Libya.
The United Nations Support Mission in Libya announced, on Thursday, that representatives of the House of Representatives and the High Council of State had reached an agreement on the crisis of the Central Bank of Libya.
