The European Union Commission has announced the allocation of four million euros to Libya to help meet humanitarian needs in the areas of health and education.

This comes within the framework of the Commission’s humanitarian funding for North Africa for the year 2022 to support the most vulnerable groups, said the Commission, noting that it will also help the needy in urban centers and hard-to-reach locations in Libya.

The Commission indicated that the European Union has allocated more than 88 million euros since 2011 to assist internally displaced persons and migrants in the country.
