Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stressed the need to respect the outcomes of the political dialogue in Libya, and for the executive authority to continue its duties, until simultaneous presidential and parliamentary elections are held, according to a constitutional rule agreed upon by all Libyans.
This came during his meeting Friday with the head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, on the sidelines of the 3rd summit of the Turkey-Africa Partnership held in Istanbul.
The two sides discussed the latest political developments regarding the holding of parliamentary and presidential elections in Libya.
