The Ambulance and Emergency Service has reported the tragic death of seven Sudanese and injuries to around 32 others following a car accident south of Kufra.
Following an urgent report, three ambulances and medical teams were immediately dispatched to the scene, the Ambulance Service stated.
Kufra is currently facing a significant influx of migrants from Sudan, fleeing the ongoing conflict in their homeland. This surge has led to migrants comprising about one-third of the city's population, many enduring severe humanitarian conditions, as highlighted by the Municipality of Kufra's spokesperson in previous media statements.
