Amnesty International has called on Haftar's forces to ensure the immediate release of activist Mariam al-Werfalli.
The organization said in a statement that prison authorities should allow Mariam to contact her family and receive adequate medical care.
According to the organization, Mariam was arrested 8 months ago by the Internal Security Service after being summoned for interrogation, noting that Mariam was arrested without an arrest warrant after she criticized Haftar's forces' management of the distribution of cooking gas in southern Libya.
