A training course focusing on project management for female municipal council members began on Sunday. Organized by the Centre for Municipal Development and Decentralization Support at the Ministry of Local Governance in collaboration with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the initiative aims to strengthen women's roles in municipal project management.
The course, divided into two parts, covers various topics, including project management fundamentals, needs analysis, resource mobilization, implementation, and communication strategies.
The program seeks to empower female council members to actively engage in all phases of project management, with a focus on initiatives supporting women’s economic empowerment.
It also aims to enhance their skills in analysis, negotiation, and stakeholder collaboration while identifying appropriate funding opportunities.
