The Ministry of Finance of the Presidential Council said that in view of the notable improvement of the world's oil prices, all parties in the Presidential Council who approved the financial arrangements for the current year has an obligation to implement the decision.
In a statement issued Sunday, the ministry added that it hopes that these procedures will be carried out with integrity and transparency and on professional basis without inflaming the public opinion, in reference to the decision made by the Central Bank of Libya to stop the disbursement of financial arrangements for the year 2018, excluding salaries and subsidies against the background of the report released by the Audit Bureau, which revealed a mass financial corruption and a large scale of waste of public funds by the government and all its ministries and bodies.
