The Ministry of Education has announced that the first batch of textbooks is expected to arrive in stores this week, according to the Director of the Center for Educational Curricula, Taher Habib.

The Education Minister-designate, Ahmed Abu Khuzam, met with the undersecretaries of the ministry and directors of centers and departments on Sunday, during which they discussed the developments of printing the textbooks after 12 companies were assigned to print them.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Muhsen Al-Kabeer, stated that the textbooks will arrive successively from Turkey and Italy and cover the needs of schools, starting from the next week, explaining that the ministry contracted with a value of 190 million dinars to maintain 170 dilapidated school buildings.
