The Sudanese Foreign Ministry announced Tuesday the arrival of the first voluntary return flights for Sudanese nationals returning from Libya.

The ministry, through its Twitter account, clarified that the number of those who have registered in the two flights through its embassy in Tripoli have amounted to 480 citizens.

It also noted that another trip is to take place on Monday for those stranded in areas of clashes south of Tripoli.

It is noteworthy that the Sudanese Foreign Ministry summoned last month the charge d'affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Khartoum on the backdrop of the murder of Sudanese citizens in Benghazi.
