Hajj

The General Authority for Hajj and Umrah Affairs has announced the death of three Libyan pilgrims on the Mount Arafa while performing Hajj, bringing the total number of Libyan deaths from the beginning of Hajj to five pilgrims, including two women.

On Saturday, Ali Hamouda, Head of the General Authority for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, and Head of the Libyan Pilgrims Delegation, briefed Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah on the conditions of Libyan pilgrims during their performance of Hajj rituals.

During a phone call with Dbeibah, Hamouda confirmed that all Libyan pilgrims are in good health and in appropriate conditions. 

He added that the mission is responsible for following up on sick cases and the elderly, and providing them with services.
