Director of Food and Drug Control Center has discussed with the Middle East region director of the World Food Programme aspects of achieving joint scientific and professional cooperation with the center’s counterparts abroad to exchange experiences with them.

According to the center, this meeting came between the two sides, which was attended by the Czech ambassador to Libya, to learn about the role of the center with regard to the quality of food and medicines that are supplied through the organization in the form of subsidies, and to hold workshops and strive to raise the level of control work at the center to serve the interest of the consumer.

For his part, Director of the Center stressed the need for shipments of food and medicines supplied through the World Food Programme to be of high quality and conform to the Libyan specifications and standards.
