The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Unity (GNU), Taher Al-Baour, has expressed Libya’s condemnation of the terrorist plots targeting the security and stability of Jordan, affirming Libya’s full solidarity and support for Jordan in facing all security challenges.
This came during a phone call on Thursday with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, during which they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries, confirming the importance of continued coordination and consultation on a range of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Al-Baour reaffirmed Libya’s stance of rejecting all forms of terrorism and extremism, and its firm alignment with Jordan in confronting attempts to destabilize security and incite unrest, as he put it.
