Former head of the High Council of State (HCS), Abdulrahman al-Suwaihli has stressed the necessity for the legitimate authority to extend control throughout Libyan territory, primarily, Sirte, Jufra, and the oil installation facilities.

"Gaining control over all Libya is not negotiable and does not require permission from anyone," Suwaihli underscored.

In his commentary on Egyptian President, Sisi statements on Libya, Suwahli said that Libya's neighbors could guarantee their security under certain conditions. "They must stop interfering in our internal affairs, cease their support for the putschists, and not allow their countries to be used as a base for any aggression against Libya," he explained.
