The Qasr Bin Ghashir Municipal Council has announced the identification of the body of the former mayor of the municipality, Muhammad Ajaj, who was found among the victims of the mass graves left by the Al-Kani militia in Tarhuna city.
Ajaj was kidnapped from the municipal council HQ by Al-Kani militia in June 2019, during the warlord Khalifa Haftar's aggression against Tripoli.
The number of cases identified by DNA in the laboratories of the General Authority for the Search and Identification of Missing Persons has exceeded 225 cases so far.
