Former regime supporters in Bani Walid city have warned the Special Adviser to the United Nations Secretary-General on Libya, Stephanie Williams, of visiting the city, threatening to "kill" her.

In a video circulated on social media, a group of people condemned the planned visit of Williams to the city, warning the Social Council of receiving her, claiming that Williams is "a NATO agent" and that she rejected Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi’s candidacy for the presidential elections.
