The Chairman of the Founding Committee of Cyrenaica Commission, Abdulhamid Al-Kaza and his deputy, Ahmed Lungi, discussed with the Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Libya, Natalie Baker the developing situation in the Libyan arena and the aggression on Tripoli.

Al-Kaza explained during the meeting held in Tunisia at the US temporary HQ the prevailing view of Cyrenaica, also known as Barqa, on the war waged on Tripoli, stressing their rejection to any military escalation.  

For her part, Natalie praised the outreach efforts of the committee to local and international partners and its strive to stopping the conflict, supporting stability in Libya, and putting an end to external interference, in addition to its endeavours to establish a solid civil State.
