Four people were injured when an unidentified device exploded during the burning of garbage pile behind a military camp in Benghazi.

An official from Al-Jalaa Hospital for Surgery and Accidents, Fadia Al-Barghathi, said in a press statement on Friday that the hospital received four injured people, among them was one in critical condition.

The hospital confirmed that the wounded received all necessary health services and care at the hospital.

The people of Benghazi continue to be haunted by landmines, improvised explosive devices and remnants of war in various residential neighborhoods that were previously areas of military operations or theatres of war.
