Head of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, has discussed with the French special envoy to Libya, Paul Soler, the latest developments of the electoral process in Libya.

This came during a meeting held Thursday at the HNEC headquarters in Tripoli, in the presence of the French Ambassador to Libya.

HNEC stated that the meeting comes within the framework of the international community's keen interest at this important stage to support efforts geared towards consensus among all parties involved in the electoral process.

For his part, the French envoy reiterated his country's support for the efforts to complete the election due process, praising at the same time the level of readiness of the commission, and appreciating the efforts it carried out in the stages of the electoral process that has been accomplished.
