France's ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje, has reaffirmed his country's support for consensus between the House of Representatives and the High Council of State to reach consensus on electoral laws and legislations and achieve stability in Libya.

This came during his meeting with the Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khalid Al-Mishri, on Saturday, according to HCS Information Office.

During the meeting, held at the headquarters of the HCS in Tripoli, they discussed many current political issues in the country, especially the recent meetings related to the achievement of the consensual constitutional basis with the House of Representatives to break the political stalemate and reach the electoral entitlement that the Libyan people aspire to as soon as possible.
