The French ambassador to Libya, Mustafa Mihraje, has appreciated the efforts made by the High National Elections Commission (HNEC) in dealing with the previous transitional stages, stressing his country's continued support for the its efforts to achieve free and credible elections.
This came during the reception of the HNEC Chairman, Imad Al-Sayeh, on Monday, to the French Ambassador, and his accompanying delegation, at the HNEC HQ in Tripoli, according to HNEC website.
Both sides discussed the latest developments in the electoral process, reviewing ways to support national proposals that aim to achieve consensus among political parties.
