The Special Envoy of the French President to Libya, Paul Soler, and the French Ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje, have met with the Charge d'Affairs of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Stephanie Koury.
The two sides discussed the latest developments related to the crises of the Central Bank of Libya and the High Council of State, and ways to reactivate the political process.
Soler affirmed France's full support for the efforts of the United Nations mission and Koury's mediation, welcoming the agreement related to the Central Bank of Libya, which was approved by both councils.
Soler and Mihraje called on the concerned parties in the High Council of State to unify this basic institution, stressing France’s commitment to the stability and sovereignty of Libya and the unity of its institutions.
